Description: <DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><P><SPAN>This vegetation map was created using the U.S. National Vegetation Classification (USNVC), with alliance as base map units. Plot data were used to determine classification and assisted in establishing reference 'signatures' for mapping. Color infrared aerial photography from 1999 and sets of true color aerial photography from 2005-2009 (1:3000 scale) were used for mapping. Polygons were drawn on-screen (heads-up digitizing). Classification resulted in 20 map classes, including 10 ecological systems.</SPAN></P></DIV></DIV>
